H.E. Mr. Zhang Jianwei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Thailand, Commends the Association’s Role in Sustaining Thai–Chinese Friendship Across Generations

The Thai–Chinese Students’ Association participated in the SEA YOU@ASEAN 2025 Youth Festival as a co-organizer. The festival is an ASEAN youth event hosted by Malaysian Students Association in China (MSAC) and Association of Malaysian Students in Beijing (AMSIB) as the principal organizers, in conjunction with Malaysia’s assumption of the ASEAN Chairmanship for the year 2025. The event attracted a large number of students and young people from ASEAN member states and the People’s Republic of China, serving as a dynamic platform for youth engagement, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of regional cooperation and people-to-people connectivity.
The event featured cultural showcases representing a wide range of ASEAN countries. On this occasion, the Thai–Chinese Students’ Association participated by hosting an exhibition booth as the representative of Thailand, where it presented the Association’s signature Thai tea, organized traditional Thai games such as Mak Kep (five-stone game), and distributed commemorative souvenirs from the Association to event participants.
In addition, Paksaran Jitphattanapaiboon, Advisor to the Thai–Chinese Students’ Association, together with Nanthapat Lertsritibancha, President of the Thai Students Association in Beijing (TSAB), participated as representatives of Thailand in attending cultural performances presented by all eleven ASEAN countries.
This occasion served as another important opportunity to strengthen networking among ASEAN youth and to promote Thai culture to friends from ASEAN member states in the People’s Republic of China.
