Call for Submissions: Chinese Speech Contest “Voices of Thai–Chinese Youth”

The Thai–Chinese Students’ Association cordially invites students nationwide—whether currently enrolled in upper secondary education, vocational education at the Certificate of Vocational Education (Por Wor Chor) level, or equivalent—to participate in the “Voices of Thai–Chinese Youth 2026” (Thai-Chinese Youth Voice Competition). The competition serves as a Chinese-language public speaking platform for Thai youth and is organized as part of China Fair 2026 by TCSA: Study – Work – Travel, with the objective of promoting Chinese language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding, and youth engagement between Thailand and China.

The competition aims to promote Chinese language proficiency, enhance confidence in public speaking, and provide a platform for Thai youth to showcase their potential. It also encourages participants to articulate contemporary perspectives on Thai–Chinese relations through the lens of the new generation. Moreover, the competition represents an important opportunity to cultivate a new network of capable Thai–Chinese youth, fostering meaningful connections and laying the foundation for future cooperation in the fields of education and culture.

The competition will be conducted in two stages: a Preliminary Round and a Final Round.
For the Preliminary Round, participants are required to submit a Chinese-language speech under the topic “我的中文故事 – My Chinese Language Story.”

1. Deliver a speech under the topic “我的中文故事 – My Chinese Language Story.”
2. Participants are required to wear their school uniform during the competition.
3. Video clip must not exceed 1:30 minutes
4. The committee will select 10 finalists to advance to the final round

Competition Schedule

• Submission Period: Now – December 20, 2025
• Preliminary Results Announcement: December 29, 2025
• Final Round: January 30, 2026 at Samyan Mitrtown

Competition Prizes

• Round-trip air tickets from Bangkok to Guangzhou by China Southern Airlines
• Total prize money over 30,000 baht
• Trophy and sash
• Certificates for all finalists
