The Thai\u2013Chinese Students Association (TCSA) successfully organized its annual flagship event, China Fair 2025 by TCSA: Study\u2013Work\u2013Travel, on February 15\u201316, 2025, at the 9th floor open hall of Siam Scape. The fair was held in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People\u2019s Republic of China, with the kind support of the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Thailand. The event aimed to commemorate this historic milestone, provide guidance on opportunities for study, work, and travel in China, and further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.<\/p>\n\n

The Association was deeply honored by the gracious presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, who presided over the opening ceremony in the morning session. Her Royal Highness presented commemorative pins to the Association\u2019s executives and distinguished benefactors of the fair, before graciously viewing a cultural performance program. Highlights included a Thai\u2013Chinese fusion dance drama by students from Thanburi Worathep Philarak School, showcasing the traditional performing arts of Thailand\u2019s four regions, and a Guzheng performance of Teresa Teng\u2019s classic song \u201cNi Zhen Me Shuo (How Do You Say)\u201d by students from Concordian International School. Her Royal Highness also visited the exhibition booths providing guidance on studying, working, and traveling in China.<\/p>\n\n

On this special occasion, Mr. Wu Zhiwu, Minister of the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Thailand, signed the guestbook with the message: \u201cRead ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles; build a lasting bridge of friendship between China and Thailand for generations to come.\u201d This message expressed the hope for deepening cooperation between China and Thailand in culture, education, and tourism.<\/p>\n

Other distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony included Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok; Madam Wang Juan, First lady of the Ambassador of the People\u2019s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand; Associate Professor Yuthana Chappanarat, Vice President for Arts and Culture, Learning Networks, and Lifelong Learning at Chulalongkorn University; Ms. Suchada Sang Taenthrup, Secretary to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation; Mr. Itthiphol Ingprasarn, Director of Pathumwan District; Mr. Thapanat Udomsri, Deputy Director of the Research and Development Division for Learning Organizations at the Office of the Basic Education Commission; Mr. Thanakorn Seriburi, Senior Vice Chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group; Mr. Parames Wittayaraksasan, Member of the House of Representatives; Mr. Abhisit Rattanakaranpong, Vice President of the Jimei School Alumni Association of Thailand; Dr. Richard Wang, Executive Director of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Bangkok); and Mr. Zhou Bin, Representative of Siam UnionPay Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n\n

The \u201cChina Fair 2025 by TCSA: Study\u2013Work\u2013Travel\u201d presented exhibition booths from 28 leading organizations in the fields of education, industry, and tourism. The fair provided students, job seekers, and individuals interested in traveling to China with accurate and comprehensive information delivered by experienced experts. The guidance covered a wide range of areas, including scholarship opportunities, university applications in China, career counseling, and employment with organizations operating in China. In addition, several companies conducted on-site recruitment for candidates with proficiency in the Chinese language. The event also featured a full spectrum of travel-related services, such as flight bookings, insurance, travel agency consultations, online platforms, and visa documentation assistance. Complementing the practical opportunities, the fair showcased Thai\u2013Chinese cultural performances and included a special raffle for round-trip tickets from Bangkok to Guangzhou, sponsored by China Eastern Airlines.<\/p>\n\n

In the afternoon, the fair hosted a panel discussion entitled \u201cFit-2-Fly to China,\u201d which featured alumni from leading Chinese universities who shared their study experiences and provided academic guidance across disciplines such as science, economics, and political science. The distinguished speakers included Dr. Krittanai Torsri from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS); Dr. Sorasich Phadungrachakit from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE); Assistant Professor Dr. Wuttichai Boonphuk from Beihang University (BUAA); Dr. Natthaporn Kongjindamunee from Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU); and Ms. Jiratchaya Phinyovorakul from Fudan University (FDU).<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the academic discussions, on February 16, 2025, the program featured a session on professional experiences delivered by leaders and experts who have played pivotal roles in fostering Thai\u2013Chinese relations. The session, entitled \u201cExclusive Talk with the Leaders,\u201d was honored by the participation of Mr. Joe Horn Pathanothai, Executive Director of Strategy613 Co., Ltd.; M.L. Suphaphan Pramoj, together with Ms. Apinya Pramoj, President of the Thai\u2013Chinese and ASEAN Economic Trade Association; Dr. Wit Sittivekin, host of 8 Minute History and Morning Wealth; and Mr. Jetaya Worapanyasukul, Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning, Siam Cement Group (SCG). Their contributions provided valuable insights into leadership, business development, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Thailand and China.<\/p>\n\n

The China Fair 2025 by TCSA concluded successfully and left a lasting impression on all who attended, particularly students and parents, as it provided an excellent platform for the younger generation to deepen their understanding of China and of Thai\u2013Chinese relations across culture, education, career opportunities, and tourism. The event also contributed to strengthening the connections between Thailand and China, in line with the objectives of the China Fair by TCSA and consistent with the mission of the Thai\u2013Chinese Students Association to bring together Thai students in China and Chinese students in Thailand, working toward the shared future of Thai\u2013Chinese relations.<\/p>\n
